I find it a more appropriate term than political career since it is not a career which has connotations of a profession to earn one’s living. In my opinion politics is a means to achieve good governance and my struggle towards the attainment of the same has just begun. Two things led to my engrossment into politics:
Firstly, being being born into a family of political strugglers, where the children are raised are a responsible citizens than obedient sons and daughters, my expanse of political thinking kept looking of new horizons. As Former President of the USA JF Kennedy said: Ask not what a country can do for you, but ask what you can do for the country. At a time when “politics” has earned a bad connotation that is corrupt and malpractice, it is the duty of new blood and new thinkers to sway the opinion that politics is good governance and statesmanship. That’s where my struggle starts from
Secondly, law is an integral adjunct of politics. Since the times of Constituent Assembly law and politics together have chiseled the Constitution and legislation of this country to run in accordance with its four corners. Being a lawyer, my political acumen kept increasing with the deep understanding of law and the socio-political milieu.
Since politics is a multifacet term and involves social work, reform, governance etc, and in that sense my footprints into it trace back to times long back belonging as a family which has had a freedom fighter, immensely doing social interest litigation, a definite graph started in 2014 when I was given responsibility as State Spokesperson for the strongest regional party of Haryana Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) founded with unlimited struggle of Jannayak Chaudhary Devi Lal and Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala. Since then I have appeared in more than 900 debates for the party on National, State Issues on National as well as Regional Channels. Apart from this I have been given different responsibilities from time to time to strengthen the party.
