Born on 3rd October 1980 in Jind (Haryana), I belong to family of freedom fighters. My grandfather late Chaudhary Dal Singh has remained recruitment officer of Indian National Army (INA) under able leadership of legendry freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. He remained Member of Legislative Assembly in States of Punjab, PEPSU and Haryana and remained first Irrigation and Power Minister, Haryana. My father, a lawyer has remained two times Member of Legislative Assembly from Julana Constituency of District Jind.
I am currently serving as Legal Advisor to Congress Legislative Party, Haryana headed by Leader of Opposition Haryana Chaudhary Bhupinder Singh Hooda. I was appointed to the post on 9 June 2021. Appointed as State Spokesperson, Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee, I have appeared in every channel of prime importance in Haryana and few National Channels including Republic India, Republic Bharat, Times Now, New24, Doordarshan, News Express etc.
Professionally, I am Post Graduate in Law (LL.M.) from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. I graduated in Law (LL.B.) from Panjab University, Chandigarh and practising law in Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh since 2003. During the period of my practice, I have gained experience in Service Law, Criminal Law, Insurance Law and few other matters relating to Panchayat/Common Land etc apart from doing pro-bono work as PIL Activist on various topics.
